Cantor 2.1 is a vocal, singing emulation program (Cantor 2.1, VirSyn Software Synthesizer Bruchsaler Weg 4 76327 Pfinztal, Germany) that enables a composer to approximate the human voice without the aid of a live choir or soloist. The Hebrew vocals in this format are a bit rough, but are more than adequate to provide a general sense of what the works sound like until such time as a group of singers can be assembled and recorded.

Psalm 90 - (verse numbering adjusted according to the te'amim)
Introduction
a Prayer of Moses, man of God
A
1. Lord you have been our dwelling-place in generation and generation
2. Before the mountains were brought forth or ever You had formed the earth and the world
even from everlasting to everlasting You are God
B
3. You return mankind back to dust by saying, 'Return, children of Adam.'
4. For a thousand years in Your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night
C
5. You sweep them away like sleep. In the morning they are like sprouting grass
6. In the morning it blossoms and grows, by evening withered and dry
D
7. For we waste away in your anger and in the heat of your rage are quickly expended.
8. You have set our iniquities before you, our secrets for a lamp in your face.
E
9. For all our days ebb away in your wrath, our lives over like a sigh
10. The span of our life is seventy years, for those who are strong - eighty
F
11. But their whole extent is anxiety and trouble, for they hurriedly pass and we fly away.
12. Who knows the power of your anger, or like you fear, your wrath?
G
13. For counting our days enables us to know and bring in a heart of wisdom
14. Return, Yahweh! How long? And have compassion on your servants
H
15. Fill us each morning with your goodness so that we can cry out and be happy all our days
I
16. Cause us to rejoice after you humble us...years we have seen misery
17. Show your servants your works and your splendor to their children
J
18. May the sweetness of our Lord God be upon us and the work of our hands established upon us
and the work of our hands established
