The Kings: ACT I

1 Samuel 10:5-6
"After that you shall come to the hill of God, where the garrison of the Philistines is located; and it shall come to pass, when you have come thither to the city, that you shalt meet a band of prophets coming down from the high place with harp, and frame-drum, and reed-pipe, and lyre, before them; and they will be prophesying. 6 And the spirit of Yahveh will come mightily upon you, and you shall prophesy with them, and shall be turned into another man."

05 Dance of the Prophets

[Instrumental and Dance]

(SAUL heads on down the road, music from the prophets is heard in the distance (O.S.) getting louder and louder as he approaches. SAUL approaches them as the music increases and the dance begins.

NATHAN, the lead prophet, comes over to SAUL and gently grabs and holds his hand. Like an electric shock he begins to be wrapped up in their frenzy and joins in their dance - SAUL begins to change into a man with power. The dance continues until SAUL falls exhausted into a passing baggage cart of a caravan that is passing through and heading towards the town.)
