SCENE ONE (the village square) [Instrumental Vamp - Under Dialogue] ["A Little Bit Here and a Little Bit There"] (SAMUEL is seen 'handing off' his position as Judge to his two sons, JOEL and ABIJAH. As his two sons walk out the door they 'high-five' each other, looking back and thinking they have pulled the wool over their father's eyes.) SOLOMON Now SAMUEL was a man appointed by God to oversee and govern His people Israel and from a very young lad he had served faithfully in this position. SAMUEL, who was now quite old and looking to retire, turned his position over as Judge to his two sons. His sons however did not quite follow in their father's footsteps.
